Dreaming of Horizons

Dreaming Of Horizons is an optimistic and uplifting painting, exploring what’s out there, beyond where we can see. It’s inspired by Polzeath in North Cornwall.

In this collection I am using more expressive mark and pattern making, and bringing back ancient Anglo-Celtic symbols that connect us to the land, and even making up my own visual language to let you speak to the landscapes and read the painting.

There is a place between what’s real and what’s imagined, what has already been lived in the past and what is yet to come, and that is what I am capturing in this new collection.

The Atlantic rushes in and as it leaves the beach we cant’ help but dream of new shores…
